New preprint! This one is about a quantitative “local-global principle” for the number of p-extensions of rational function fields in characteristic p, in nilpotency class ≤ 2, ordered by largest upper ramification break. The paper vastly simplifies our previous proof, making the argument more stand-alone, and avoiding the exclusion of the prime 2. I am quite happy about the outcome, as I now understand why the result holds much better. Working on generalizations is of course my next goal…
